Classroom Libraries program
Our Classroom Libraries program provides new teachers, as of fall 2020, working for Murfreesboro City or Rutherford County Schools with twenty-five gently used children’s books.
Even though we began this program years ago, this year has been a particular success and in just the last two weeks we have had the privilege of providing books to fill the classrooms of more than 35 new teachers. That equals 875 books that will find their way into the hands, hearts, and minds of children!
We still have more books to give away. If you are a new teacher interested in this program, please contact Dianne Hall, Family Literacy Coordinator, for more information and to schedule a time to stop by and peruse our library.
