The first ever RuCo (Rutherford County) Reading Invasion took place on Sunday, May 5 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Cannonsburgh Village in Murfreesboro. This was a celebration of our community’s love of reading.
The idea is simple – bring something to read and spend time gathering with others who love to read as well. This is not a book club and there will be no activities planned – just a time to come together, enjoy the act of reading, and remind our community that reading is an essential element of many of our lives. The Linebaugh Book Mobile will be on hand for those who need a book or to sign up for a library card.
So bring a book, a blanket, and a friend, and join us for an hour of reading, relaxing, and gathering at the beautiful and historic Cannonsburgh Village. In the event of rain, the Murfreesboro Linebaugh Library.
