Save the date for our 19th Annual Celebrity Spelling Bee! The Bee will be held on Friday, November 7th at The View at Fountains in Murfreesboro and feature well-known community leaders competing for the title of best speller in Rutherford County. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner begins at 6:30 p.m., and the program kicks off at 7:00 p.m. In addition to an exciting adult spelling bee, there will be a live (and silent) auction and food/drinks provided by Cedar Glade Brews, Julie’s Bartending, Simply Pure Sweets, and The Sweet Addiction.

This event gives our community the opportunity to come together in a fun, creative way to promote literacy and serves as our main fundraiser of the year. This year, our goal is to raise $70,000! One hundred percent of the funds received will stay in Rutherford County and support our organization’s adult literacy program, youth and family literacy program, and other literacy initiatives.
