Reader Training

Reader Training provides a person with the skills to train others to read aloud to children and groups. Reading aloud models to children important reading and literacy concepts. By making each book a special experience, children become involved and gain significant educational skills. It could change their lives.

This informative, one-day training covers topics such as:

reading success
the art of reading aloud
how to get volunteers to read to your children
how to conduct your own training for volunteers and staff

All participants will receive a training manual and DVD that can be used for future trainings. The cost of training is $5 (covers materials).
