Read To Succeed in the news!

Read To Succeed is an exciting community partnership created to promote literacy in our lives. The objective of this collaboration between schools, area agencies, and businesses is to support local literacy programs. The other main objective of the initiative is to raise community awareness about the fun and importance of reading.

Events such as Reading in the Schools Day and Reading Rally will take place throughout the year to promote reading in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County. See the Calendar of Events for upcoming activities and events. Volunteers are a vital part of our success. Learn how to get involved with Read To Succeed.

Read To Succeed is a non-profit community initiative created by the Jennings and Rebecca Jones Foundation. Explore our site to learn more about us, our benefactors, and our council.

Reading Rally attracted over 3,000 guests to Murfreesboro, Smyrna and LaVergne libraries on Saturday, September 10th. Storytellers, musicians, healthy snacks and many other reading related activities were available free to the public.

We welcome your comments, questions and suggestions. Please contact us for more information about Read To Succeed.
